You can submit a picture by tagging @piothepenguin and using the #AdventuresWithPio hashtag (or the Adventures With Pio tag on Threads) to your social media posts! You can tag Pio on Facebook, Instagram, Threads, BlueSky, and you can post on the r/AdventuresWithPio subreddit! You can also email your photos to hello@piothepenguin.com. When you submit the photo, please make sure that you have:

• Included Pio in the photo(s) with you in any physical form, whether Pio comes with you as the plush, a shirt, or a pin.
• The location where you took the photo. Tagging the location on the post is a great way to add the location, but the more specific the better! If you submit your photo through email, make sure to either add the location in your email or share the photo with us with the location metadata embedded (your phone typically will do this for you if you haven't turned off the setting already)
• Anyone who wants to be in the photo with their best smile! While Pio loves to take photos with his friends, he also understands some people are camera shy. Since he doesn't require others to be in the photo, neither do we!

Once you submit your photo(s), we will review them and add them to the interactive map! If direct messages (DM's) are available on the social platform, we will try to DM or email you that your location has been added to the map. In the case you don't get contacted, keep your eyes peeled on the map in case we just missed the DM.

Feel free to also submit multiple photos at the same time. That way we can fill up the map and see all the places Pio's gone!

Please keep in mind, this is not an automated process, a real person is looking at each photo, so please be mindful of what you send! In addition, it might take some time to get the photo added, though you can expect the photo to be added within a week!

Of course! Pio LOVES to revisit locations and see places with his friends. Your photos will be added in the same place, but as different markers so you can see your photos as well as photos from more of Pio's friends.

When you submit a photo, you are allowing us to use the photo on the map.

You are also allowing us to use the photos online, in places such as (but not limited to):

• the website
• on social media
• product pages
• online advertising

If we would like to use your photo submission in any offline medium (such as print or physical advertising), we will contact you if you've provided any contact method (social media, email, etc.). It will be completely up to you whether you agree to allowing us to use the photo in that purpose or not.

You are not agreeing to allowing us to sell the photos themselves or to alter the photos in any way (except for basic photo editing such as cropping, global brightening, adjusting color balance, etc.)

That's ok! If you don't want you photo on the map, just make sure to not use the AdventureWithPio hash tag or tag.

If you still use the tag, your photo meets the requirements listed above, and you still don't want the photo added, then just add somewhere on the post itself that you do not want the photo added to the map, or DM us on social media.

If you photo is added to the map and you do not want it there, whether it was added by mistake or you just want it removed at any time, just email us at hello@piothepenguin.com or DM us on our socials. We will be happy to remove the photo for you!

While Pio's adventures can go anywhere, there are some places where he doesn't want to intrude. Photos will be restricted, excluded, or removed from Pio's Big Map if they meet any of the following criteria:

• The photo depicts trespassing, as in the illegal intrusion to private or protected property. Pio loves to go to all sorts of places, but only if he is welcome! This means that trespassing onto land that belongs to a private entity, such as an individual or company, without consent is not approved.
• The photo depicts anyone recklessly in danger or in reckless risk of danger. We acknowledge that there may be professionals who take Pio on their more extreme adventures, and Pio will love to join there too! Professionals understand the risks and are trained to mitigate the risks of their sport or activity. Do not put yourself at risk to add to the map.
• The photo depicts illegal activity. If a photo shows incriminating activity, it will not be allowed on Pio's Big Map.
• The photo depicts violation to "leave no trace" rules on trails. Pio loves to take care of the planet, and he wants his photos to be good role-models for how to leave no trace on trails. If the photo shows litter on the trail, stealing from the trail, or damage to the environment, the photo will not be featured on Pio's Big Map.
• The photo depicts identifying property. This one is for the safety of you, your home, and your privacy. While the #AdventuresWithPio hashtag can be used to show you having a good time at home with your best buddy Pio, your location will not be exposed on Pio's Big Map in the case that you inadvertently submit a photo with geolocation activated.

Please keep in mind, these restrictions are for your safety, and Pio the Pioneering Penguin LLC (the Company) will not be held responsible for any behavior conducted by owners of any Pio product. Illegal activity is not condoned or permitted by Pio or the Company and will not be published on Pio's Big Map. Dangerous activity (activity that puts yourself and/or others at risk recklessly and without training) is likewise not condoned or permitted by the Company. This list of restrictions can change at any time, and any changes will be applied retroactively if/when changes happen in the future.
